The Speaker's Bureau would include experts and experienced volunteers willing to share their knowledge of environmental topics with classroom teachers or other interested groups. Teachers or group leaders would need to contact the speakers directly to make arrangements.

Vision

The intent is to provide quality environmental education to persons in the communities of Bedford County, to educate, train and otherwise publicize conservation of water, land, air and other natural resources.

Goals

To achieve this purpose, the corporation shall acquire, utilize and maintain to whatever extent it is able such educational facilities, equipment and materials as will serve this purpose and shall make such facilities, equipment and materials available to teachers, students and other interested citizens. It shall seek assistance and funds necessary to achieve this purpose and shall conduct its business on a charitable and non profit basis.
