This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes, specifically, to provide environmental education opportunities to students and outdoor educational recreation for citizens of Bedford County, Pennsylvania.

The intent is to provide quality environmental education to persons in the communities of Bedford County, to educate, train and otherwise publicize conservation of water, land, air and other natural resources.

To achieve this purpose, the corporation shall acquire, utilize and maintain to whatever extent it is able such educational facilities, equipment and materials as will serve this purpose and shall make such facilities, equipment and materials available to teachers, students and other interested citizens. It shall seek assistance and funds necessary to achieve this purpose and shall conduct its business on a charitable and non profit basis.
